As you know, many of the artwork featured here are of pristine, artistic quality, captured by the many many members of the giantess community. However, up until now we have been neglecting those whose artworks aren't quite as epic as the former. It's time to fix that.

To paraphrase Mr. Iwata, here at the Cartoon GTS Club, we are happy to announce a new folder, which has now gone live. 'Giantess Spectrum' is especially for those beginner or intermediate artists whose giantess pictures match the rules of the group.

This means that now everyone in the spectrum of artistic genius are all included in the group, provided they still follow the rules. You can find the 'Giantess Spectrum' folder in the Gallery section of the group.

Thanks for reading!
A small journal here, notifying that we've survived SOPA, PIPA, ACTA, and other ways that have been thought of to shut the Internet down, enough to celebrate our third anniversary! A big thanks to everyone who has followed, submitted, and affiliated with us over the past year! Let's keep going and see how well we fare in 2014!
It's now 8th October, GMT. It was on this day, two years ago, that the Cartoon GTS Club was set up to gather and commemorate only the giantesses from shows made by Western studios in the US and UK, that weren't furry nor from Asia.

And look how much it has grown! (Pun not intended) We've had contributions from the finest of artists, in all sorts of formats, we acquired our own avatar (which has now been replaced with a new one), we celebrated the first Hug a Giant/Giantess Day and we even got name-checked on Cubed's Anime GTS World when it expanded to accommodate cartoon giantesses!

I cannot thank everyone enough for helping my project to come to fruition and take off in such an epic way. I'd like to thank all of my Co-Admins for working alongside me and making sure this Group is running at full capacity, all the Members who have joined us since that fateful day, and especially all the artists who allowed us to showcase their artwork in the Gallery.

But we're not gonna stop now. We're gonna keep on showcasing new artwork as they come and keep on going. Let's hope that in 365 days time we'll be able to celebrate a third year of success on DeviantArt and possibly upgrade to a Super Group as soon as we've got a lot of money. I'm also planning on dedicating blog posts to specific cartoon characters and allowing Members to post their own (clean) fantasies and blog entries about cartoon giantesses they like.

Here's to our second year on DeviantArt, and long may this club reign!
I don't know the person's name behind this idea, but in two days time (GMT), the inaugural celebration of Hug a Giant/Giantess Day commences! It was about time - macrophiliacs such as ourselves needed a day to set things straight (e.g. we aren't all a bunch of disgusting fetishists, we're actually on the same level as furries and object lovers) and to celebrate our fetish. Ergo, why should this prestigious group miss out on all the fun?

Of course, I'm not too sure on the rules, but I'm sure that cartoon giantesses count just the same as anime, furry and OC giantesses, so if you want to post a drawing of yourself or a friend hugging your/their favorite giantess on this group, then that's fine by me. Of course, I cannot draw for the life of me, only write. So, here's the list of the Top 10 Cartoon Giantesses I'd Love to Hug!

Not just anyone could go in. The list was made pertaining to the rules I established for this group. So, no anime, furry or live-action giantesses.

There were so many I could've picked from. Maybe if this day becomes popular, I might do another list next year? Nevertheless, here we go!

10: Candace (Phineas & Ferb)
I have to give the guys of this Disney show credit: they love to wow us GTS fans! Not only have there been scenes with Candace interacting/semi-interacting with shrunken people (e.g. "Journey to the Center of Candace" and that-episode-where-the-gang-shrink-to-tiny-size-which-I've-forgotten-the-name-of), it was Season 2's "Attack of the 50ft Sister" that got us raved up. She was awesome as a giantess, so hugging her would be my way of showing my gratitude. Let's hope for a sequel sometime in the future!

9: Susan and Mary Test (Johnny Test)
I know, I know, a lot of you hate the show. But, be honest -- Susan and Mary Test are the only characters that have saved the show from being cancelled many times in the past. Plus, the writers have been dead bent on appeasing many fetishists, from anthropomorphic beasties to vampires. Why the bleeding heck haven't they done the pair as giantesses?! There's two of them, so it would be hard for me to choose which one to hug, plus if I get kissed by the pair of them, that would be a bonus!

8: Frankie Foster (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends)
Frankie only appeared as a giantess in one episode of the series (near the end of the run, thank God!) and in "Destination: Imagination". The reason why I'd love to hug her is purely because Frankie never got enough love from fans of the show. Compared with the many fans for Mac, Bloo et al, "Miss Francis" only had a handful. Plus, if she were a titanic red-haired goddess, she'd finally get her revenge for having to slave away with the chores!

7: Anyone from the Total Drama Series
No, this isn't a cop-out. Aside from Izzy, who got a brief but epic GTS cameo, there's so many cuties in the Total Drama series that I can't ruddy decide which one to hug! All of them have their own appeal, so to speak, that it would take me until next year to finally decide --- if Fresh TV haven't made another series by then!

6: Sharon Spitz (Braceface)
I made you dig deep into your childhood there, and I know for a fact some of you don't really like her or the show (or at least, those who left comments on Youtube), but yes, she DID become a giantess, but only in dream sequences, alas. The poor wee lass never had enough appreciation from 2001 to the end of her show, so as with Frankie, I would very much give her a hug.

5: Sissi Delmas (Code Lyoko)
I know many won't like the ordering on this list, but to be fair, it was hard coming up with who should be at Numbers 5 - 1. Sissi, so far, was the only "giantess" on Code Lyoko, in Episode 50, should you care to look, but only for five minutes. Also, it's more of a special effect rather than anyone being shrunk near her or herself actually grown to become a giantess, sadly. Plus, she's never got the attention she deserves from fans or have too many happy endings so far. (Series 4 was a rip-off, I swear) All the more reason for me to hug her! Sissi has non-canonically become a giantess through my comic, "Sissizilla", which you can find courtesy of the kind artist here - :iconstardust-phantom:

4: Dee Dee (Dexter's Laboratory)
This entry holds a fond place in my heart. Dee Dee was the very first giantess that actually did "something weird" (as I thought at the time) in my young body back then. I was obsessed with "The Big Sister" and made it my favorite episode. Then came the finds of both a coloring book of the episode (before the one with added paints in America) and a sequel to the story in my CN magazine, and that got me really excited. (Dee Dee grows large via a growth ray to rescue a cat from a tree, then decides she likes being big. Dexter chases her with a shrink ray but manages to shrink everything else in the world, including himself! By the time the shrink ray loses its power, Dee Dee is still a giantess and Dexter has given up!) I'd dearly hug Dee Dee for helping me discover the fetish we all hold dearly. Why isn't it at Number 1? You'll see...

3: Nikki Wong / Jen Masterson / Caitlin Cooke (6teen)
Again, this was very difficult for me to choose, so I had to plump for all three. :icondaanton: has done some very awesome giantess pictures of the trio, and is still doing them occasionally to this day. Like the Total Drama series, each of the three has their own appeal that makes me like all three equally in terms of giantesses (in terms of normal-size, I go for Jen), hence why I'd hug all of them!

2: Sally Bollywood (Sally Bollywood)
"WHO?! I hear you say. Well, being in the UK, we get European animation as much as American animation, and this young Indian detective-in-the-making is just one of the EU-exclusive characters both kids and us animation fans have managed to see. It's doubtful the US will get her, but if you do, you'll agree with me that she's so darn CUTE! Her eyes just shine with her cuteness, her voice is sweet and she can pull just the cutest poses! It's like a cross between The Powerpuff Girls, Kim Possible and Inspector Morse! If she were a giantess, I'd hug her on the spot!

But who made the number one on my list? I think you know straight away from my credentials! All together now:

1: Nazz (Ed, Edd n Eddy)
So, she wasn't a giantess on the show, like the dudettes from 6teen. She wasn't very popular or well known, like Sissi Delmas and Sharon Spitz, respectively. She's cute and sincere, like Sally Bollywood. And she was a part of my molding into the cartoon giantess club, like Dee Dee. Nazz, or rather her AU counterpart Nazzilla, was spawned from a dream that I had since 2007. Two years later, thanks to :iconanimated:, :icontobymobias: and :iconpiranhamae:, that dream came true. Despite the actual name (if I had to rename it, it would've been "The Nazzilla Pilot"), the flash film was a success, and it is this character I have to thank: cute, kind, sweet voice, etc. but not-very-well-known. Although you may think I've moved on from her, I have big plans for Nazzilla. Let me announce it here and now: Nazzilla is returning. Not as another flash film, no not yet. Rather as a fanfiction series set in the CN Omniverse. Phil the Valiant, my OC muse, is there too, but for now I'd want to hug Nazzilla and say: "Thanks for everything, dude. Happy Hug a Giantess Day!"
Alright, the rules of the club have been ignored one too many times... and I'm going to have to simplify them so they don't get ignored:

"Rule 1. There are a lot of anime-centric and furry-centric giantess groups out there, and as this is a CARTOON giantess Group, it should stand out from the crowd. With a heavy heart and great sadness, I'm afraid that no Japanese-based anime or furry giantesses are allowed. So what is allowed? Well, cartoons made in Europe and America are allowed, of course, and all female characters that are human are also allowed. People like Sari Sumdac are alright, so long as she's in her human mode."

This basically means, that Japanese and animal, anthro or not GTS content will NOT be accepted. the club allows carton human giantess content to be added.

"Rule 2. That being said, as a compromise, you don't have to be a contributor to make submissions. We'll welcome all artwork!"

This basically means anyone and everyone is allowed to add to the group so long as it abides by the rules.

"Rule 3. All submissions must adhere to the usual guidelines."

This basically means that should a picture that does not follow the guide lines be submitted or if it is accepted... it will be removed.

"Rule 4: We accept all forms of artwork, pictures/Flash films/fanart."

This basically means any form of cartoon human gts content be it photo manipulation, drawing, collage... GMOD... it'll be allowed granted it follows the rules.

"Rule 5: For goodness sakes, no spamming or flaming each other! And that goes too for spamming and flaming the Creator and the Admins."

This basically means no one should be fighting, any and all flame battles will be hidden and will not be tolerated!

And finally, a rule that I am adding that I thought was given:

Rule 6: Do NOT try to submit a photo of real life activity or real people giantesses, unless the giantess is from a cartoon and Photoshop'ed well enough that it's believable.

So there you go! At this point it should be noted: if the rules are constantly ignored anymore, you WILL be told it again and again until it gets stapled into your mind!

Thank you for your time, and  for pete's sake PLEASE follow the rules!
